Register now for the 2008 Football Season!
Registration is open now until July 31st. Registration fees are required to be fully paid by July 31st. After the formal draft (typically late July), all players will be placed on their registered team or with the next available slot (following draft order) until all teams are filled. SSJFA Board of Directors will determine a cut-off, and when reached, all players will go on a wait-list for placement if slots become available. If you, or someone you know is interested, don't delay! Practices commences - typically - the first week in August.
You should provide to us:
(1) completed Registration Form.
(2) Check or Money order made out to: SSJFA
(3) a photocopy of the participant's birth certificate and school transcript
Please note: Beginning in the 2008 season, South Suburban Junior Football Association will no longer accept Birth certificates as a means of identification for your player. Official school transcripts will be verified with the school prior to being placed on a team. For those players who have previously registered their birth certificates will need to provide both documents for the 2008 season.

Tackle Football (7-12 yrs. olds), -- $125
Flag (5-7 yrs. olds) -- $60.00

General Information
Please note that a discount applies to the total family bill for families with multiple SSJFA participants. The league attempts to accommodate siblings whose parents wish them to be associated with the same team. A discount of $10.00 will be applied after one full registration is paid for each tackle player and a $5.00 discount for flag players once one full tackle or flag registration fee is paid. All players requesting a discount must live in the same family dwelling and such proof must be provided prior to discount.
There are some equipment items that are required of participants once they are placed on a team. Purchasing these items is the responsibility of the participant. Click here for more details.
